Juvva Nano is a proprietary nanoliposomal delivery system that brings important nutrients deep into the skin where they are most effective to supplement skin’s natural function. It contains ingredients like phosphatidyl choline fatty acids (lecithin), cholesterol, amino-palmitoyl fatty acids, collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C.     What Nano technology is, how it works, the benefits of it and why it makes BioIntense so incredible/unique?

    Nanomaterials have at least one dimension between 1 and 100 nanometers (nm).

    The human body is constructed of functioning unit of various dimensions, from those that are large enough to see with your eyes, to those which are nanosized. Nanosized units include organelles found inside living cells, pieces of DNA in the blood stream, and protein complexes such as enzymes. Each of these objects are made of many molecules, and when they are linked together in specific ways the unit that they make has properties that may be very different from what you would predict based on the molecules alone.  This is part of the magic of life.

    Nanoparticles can also be engineered in the laboratory to have selected properties. There are two majoe types: solid, one or two component nanoparticles and not-solid, multicomponent nanoparticles. Solid ones are mainly desired for their electronic and optical properties and used in electrical and sensor applications, including medical tools like MRI.  Not solid particles are being developed for drug and gene delivery, and are also suitable for delivery of nutrients to skin for cosmetic purposes.

    The nanoparticles used in BioIntense NANO are multicomponent, meaning they have several different types of molecules working together to not only form the nanostructure, but also to respond uniquely to the skin environment they find themselves. In this way they can be designed to perform a specific task at a specific place, for example to delivery a nutrient to that environment.  This type of nanomaterial is an Intelligent NanoDelivery SystemTM.

    Our nanoparticles are nano due to their size. Each ingredient is selected from molecules that are either natural products from plants or foodstuffs, or molecules that are already found in the human body. The assembly of these molecules into a nanosized object (e.g. a sphere) does not cause the final particle to be chemically reactive or catalytic (unlike for example titanium dioxide or silver). Their intelligence stems from the ability of this nanoparticle to change its shape and ability to penetrate different layers oft he skin. As it does so it has the change to release some of its nurturing contents deep into the skin. This is especially important in aging or damaged skin in which the cells function poorly. Although those cells still create and support your skin, they may form skin deficient in one or more components, leading to weakness and failure of its integrity. If the correct molecular balance of skin is not made the skin can become frail, change ist appearance and be more susceptible to infection and other problems. If the skin composition becomes highly abnormal, even autoimmune responses may take place. Our nanoparticles contain only ingredients known to be in skin or used by skin cells.  These ingredients would normally either be supplied by the blood or made by the skin cells themselves. Thus we strive to supplement what is missing in the skin. The Intelligent Nanodelivery SystemTM lets us ensure that these supplemental ingredient penetrate the skin thoroughly at levels that cells can recognize.
